Mull and Iona Community Trust

Mull and Iona Community Trust (MICT) aims to improve the quality of life for residents of Mull - the second largest of the inner hebridean islands on the west coast of Scotland - and the small island of Iona which lies at its south western tip. The organisation conducts a plethora of social projects, and used a loan from Triodos Bank in the development of two much-needed three-bedroom houses in the Ulva Ferry area of the island. With affordable rents, low heating bills and a location adjacent to Ulva Primary School, the homes have been designed to ensure the long term sustainability of the community.
