Can The Foundation space be used to screen films?
The projector can be used to screen films as part of an event, but the space is not a purpose-built cinema and the light levels are too high for it to be suitable for high quality film screenings.

The Triodos Foundation makes the space available at a low hire charge to help enable organisations, with social, environmental and cultural objectives, to hold events that will help them in achieving those aims.
It is suitable for events such as workshops, training sessions, consultations, debates, board meetings and AGMs.
It is not available to hire for entirely social events, or to private individuals.
An up-to-date list of public car parks can be found at https://travelwest.info/drive/parking/bristol-car-parking-map
The closest car park is the College Street pay and display. There is also on-street metered parking on Deanery Road.
Unfortunately, we have not been able to install a hearing loop, but the microphones and speakers are available to everyone using the space, to improve the sound quality for the audience.
The building is on one level from the pavement on St George's Road to ensure straightforward access, there are no steps within the premises and it has an accessible toilet.
Please note that there is a steep incline on the pavement between the entrance to Triodos Bank on Deanery Road and the entrance to The Foundation on St George's Road.
Yes, you will be provided with the password on arrival.
There are 140 chairs and 20 rectangular tables on wheels.
We aim to make the space as flexible as possible and can arrange the furniture according to your specifications. See the floorplan for more information.
Due to the layout of the space it can be used for meetings and workshops for small groups, but the entire space can accommodate up to 200 people standing and 120 seated, theatre style.
If you are unsure about whether the space is suitable for your event, please feel free to contact the team to discuss your requirements.
The Foundation does not provide a catering service. The space comes with equipment to make and serve hot and cold drinks and with mugs, glasses, water jugs plates and cutlery.
You are welcome to bring your own catering, or to request a list of local suppliers who are familiar with the venue.
The Foundation requests that you use caterers with a responsible packaging policy, and avoid food waste by taking unconsumed food with you when you leave.
Alcohol may be served at events with prior agreement with The Foundation. This is subject to appropriate measures being taken by the event organisers to ensure that alcohol is served responsibly, and within the law.
Please note that The Foundation is not licensed to sell alcohol, so you may not charge for alcoholic drinks served.
The Foundation has been set up to accommodate business events and, as such, is not a suitable environment for children to play.
If you would like to hold events at which children are present, they must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times, and your own event risk-assessment should address this.
Please bring your presentation on your laptop. The Foundation has both a VGA and HDMI cable. If you are bringing a Mac, please bring an adaptor. We would also recommend bringing your presentation on a USB stick to cover any eventualities
