We only grant loans to initiatives or organisations for a clear and concrete purpose. Think of the financing of materials, buildings, machines or land. We also finance acquisitions if they contribute to the long-term sustainability of the company.

3. The product or service is ready for the market and there is proven demand for it

We finance initiatives and organisations with a finished product or service that is ready to market or has already been put on the market. We only finance products, assets and services when we are sure that there is a demand or need for them.

4. You can repay the loan plus interest

Triodos Bank provides loans using funds entrusted to us by our savers and investors. We want to ensure that you can repay your loan and interest within the agreed period.

5. Your equity and financing are in healthy proportion to each other

We are looking for a good balance between the risk-bearing capital and the part we finance. Our dedicated relationship managers are here to help you through this process. The higher the risk associated with the loan request, the more the financial commitment we expect from you and the other parties involved.
