The climate emergency is increasingly affecting people’s lives and impacting nature: wildfires, heat waves, heavy flooding, the loss of biodiversity. We have concrete proof of the need to urgently reduce greenhouse gas emissions, well before 2050. We are in the decisive decade.
We know that we need to solve climate challenges together, and to act as one movement.
At Triodos Bank, our customers and community play a key role in our vision to reach net zero in a holistic way, without leaving anyone behind. We know there is a willingness to work together to achieve something that is very difficult, but possible. Our meeting this year will consider this situation and our need to change, together.
Hosted by Gillian Burke, biologist and BBC Springwatch presenter, an update from the Triodos Bank UK team will include exploration of our net zero strategy, and time for you to ask questions. We’ll also be inspired by organisations financed by Triodos, who are working to tackle the climate emergency and other societal challenges.
